Everyones Internet Reports Fifth Consecutive Quarter of Growth

📅 - Everyones Internet, parent company of Web hosting firm RackShack (rackshack.net), reported its fifth consecutive quarter of growth in revenue, net income and subscribers this week.

The company reported net income of $700,000 on revenues of $7.6 million for the three months ended February 28, 2002, and net income of $1.4 million on revenue of $13.9 million for the prior six months ending at that date. EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) were $1.5 million for the same three months; and $2.8 million for the same six months.
"We are continuing to improve net income while aggressively growing the two primary product lines - dialup Internet service and Web hosting," said Robert Marsh, Everyones Internet's President and CEO.
The company said dialup subscribers to Everyones Internet grew from approximately 129,000 to 176,000 between August and February, and reported "tremendous" growth in RackShack, its Web hosting unit. The company's number of Web hosting customers grew from 7,000 in August 2001 to 10,200 as of February 28, 2002 (7,200 virtual and 3,000 dedicated).
The company said that while its virtual hosting business continues to grow at a modest pace, RackShack has shifted its focus from virtual to dedicated hosting, as it is projecting "phenomenal" increases in sales. In March 2002 alone, the company said it sold close to 900 dedicated servers.
