Turillion Partners With Firewall Systems to Secure Enterprise Networks
📅 - Texas-based Turillion Software Technologies (turillion.com) said today it had formed a partnership with UK based Firewall Systems Ltd., an Internet security solution provider, to offer Turillion's eServer Secure security suite to its enterprise clients.
eServer Secure is a policy-based application firewall that protects Microsoft IIS Web servers and back end applications, including IBM WebSphere, BEA, ColdFusion, SQL, Oracle and Microsoft Exchange from over 1,500 known Web attacks. Firewall Systems, which provides a number of network consulting and analysis services, will offer eServer Secure through an international reseller agreement. Our customers, including those with existing network firewalls and desktop anti-virus solutions in place, have already expressed an enormous interest in eServer Secure's ability to extend their visibility and control over e-commerce servers and essential back-end enterprise applications," said Joe Allen, Managing Director of Firewall Systems.

📅 - PSINet Europe Sold for $9.5 Million - Bankrupt ISP PSINet (psinet.ch) said today it had entered into an agreement to sell PSINet Europe to a group of investors for $9.5 million US. The group is led by led by Israel Corporation, a publicly held company, and ClearBlue Technologies Holdings. (managedops.com) announced on Monday that it has acquired the customer contacts of Vobix Corporation, a Kentucky-based subsidiary of ManTech International Corporation.
