May, 2002 : Loudcloud Launches Low-End Managed Services
📅 - Managed services provider Loudcloud (Loudcloud.com -> hostinger.com) yesterday announced the release of Managed Services 3.0, an expanded range of low-end managed services that offers a customized outsourcing solution, and the ability to start small and scale while maintaining high quality operations at a lower cost.
Starting at $10,000 per month, Managed Services 3.0 lets initial customers that require enhanced management for smaller initial projects or mission critical sites, obtain managed services in a low-risk, cost-effective manner. The new service offerings, which provide complete lifecycle management of the customer's e-business infrastructure are composed of three key components: Loudcloud Deployment and Launch Services, Loudcloud Application and Infrastructure Services and Loudcloud Client Services. Customers select options within each component to build their customized outsourced solution. Loudcloud will architect the site, build the e-business infrastructure, integrate the customer's applications, and test the e-business environment to ensure reliability and uptime. "Managed Services 3.0 allows customers to start small, spend less, and control what operations they'd like to outsource and what operations they manage themselves - all this while maintaining the high quality of service that Loudcloud delivers through Opsware technology," said Tim Howes, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Development at Loudcloud. "No one else in the industry has the technology, expertise and experience to take a customer from simple to complex hosting. With these new services, Loudcloud customers can do just that."
