📅 May 21, 2002 - Managed infrastructure solutions provider Interliant (interliant.com) introduced its Managed Firewall Service (MFS) Reports on Tuesday.

The company says the service will be free, as well as immediately available to Interliant firewall customers. The new standard reporting service, says Interliant, provides valuable insight into the activities and performance of managed firewall resources.
MFS Reports, says Interliant, provides managed firewall customers with firewall status information such as device uptime, CPU utilization, interface utilization, system event reports and firewall activity reports, including Activity by Service and Summary of Rule Base Hits.
Interliant says it implements policies based on each customer's unique requirements, such as what traffic is allowed into the network and which ports should be open. Once a customer's system is live, they can access their information via INIT Security's protected reporting portal.
According to Interliant, its INIT Managed Firewall Service offering enables business decision makers the chance to implement security solutions at a stable cost structure. Interliant implements custom firewall solutions, monitoring and upgrading the infrastructure against changing security threats.
