Aug, 2002 : VitalStream to Host SPY Kids 2 Movie Site

📅 August 1, 2002 - Customized digital broadcasting solution provider VitalStream (VitalStream.com -> inap.com) announced on Thursday that it has been chosen to host the "SPY Kids 2" movie Web site (spykids.com), designed to promote the feature film to be released in theaters August 7.

"We have witnessed the rapid adoption of our technology in the entertainment industry because MediaConsole is a flexible solution with impressive reporting and tracking capabilities that make it a perfect fit for studios promoting their upcoming films," says Paul Summers, VitalStream's chief executive officer. "Dimension Films is one of the most respected names in the film industry and we are pleased to be a part of the SPY Kids 2 promotion."
According to VitalStream, hosting and Internet services intermediary played an instrumental role in the partnership between Dimension and VitalStream. RampRate assessed the requirements of the SPY Kids 2 project, and matched them with VitalStream's technical capabilities.
VitalStream's Web-based Media Console application enables the remote control and digital broadcast of audio and video content over the Internet. The product, says VitalStream, simplifies the process of managing and distributing digital content. Its key features include intelligent templates, real-time reporting, digital rights management and integrated media hosting.
