📅 - Hosting automation and enterprise server software provider SWsoft (sw-soft.com) said on Wednesday that more than 50 companies have purchased the HSPcomplete automation solution to manage hosting operations and offer virtual private server (VPS) hosting plans.
Among the hosting providers currently using the HSPcomplete solution to provision and bill for shared, dedicated and VPS hosting plans are Intergenia, eServers and Hostmania.
Intergenia and Hostmania are capitalizing on low-cost bandwidth and the introductory pricing of HSPcomplete, says SWsoft, upselling managed applications to their existing customer bases and new services to the SMB market. Among the new products, says SWsoft, are virtual private servers, fully-isolated partitions with dedicated-like features a prices close to that of shared hosting.
SWsoft says virtual private server architecture increases both revenue-per-customer and revenue-per-server for shared hosting providers.
With more than 50 customers, SWsoft says its market share has increased by 20 percent in eight weeks, and expects that number to increase sharply by the end of the year.
