Sep, 2002 : Digex Transfers to Nasdaq SmallCap Market
📅 - Managed hosting provider Digex Incorporated (digex.com) announced on Friday that the company has been approved for transfer from the Nasdaq National Market to the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.
The switch takes effect Monday, and the company's common stock will continue to trade under its current ticker symbol, DIGX. According to Digex, the transfer to the SmallCap Market extends the company's grace period for meeting the Nasdaq's listing requirement of a $1 minimum bid price until December 4, 2002. Following that date, the company may be eligible for an additional 180 day grace period, according to Nasdaq rules.

(networkcommerce.com) said on Thursday that the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in Seattle has dismissed with prejudice the securities class actions filed against the company and its chairman Dwayne Walker. The litigation, says Network commerce, was a consolidation of multiple class actions dating back as far as May 10, 2001, alleging violations of federal securities laws based on alleged misrepresentations and omissions. The civil suit filed on Monday alleges that Citigroup Inc.'s Salomon Smith Barney Inc. essentially bought investment banking business from executives at WorldCom, Qwest Communications International Inc. and other companies with IPO shares.
