📅 - Internet solutions company Bay Area Internet Solutions (BayArea.net -> vxchnge.com -> hostinger.com) celebrated the operational launch of its newly-acquired Internet data center with an open house held on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Among the attendees were local Bay Area businesses, media members and attendees of the ISPcon conference taking place at the San Jose Convention Center. The open house included a drawing for a grand prize of a full rack or cabinet-based colocation service with bandwidth and one year free service for the winner's organization. The prize was valued at nearly $15,000, says the company.
According to BAIS, the 24,000 square foot facility was previously occupied by Exodus Communications and was acquired for an extremely discounted rate. The facility included over $10,000,000 in sophisticated equipment, enabling BAIS to upgrade its capabilities to existing customers and provide growth opportunities.
