📅 - Managed infrastructure solution provider Interliant Inc. (interliant.com) announced on Monday that it has been chosen to provide a managed messaging solution and services for Chrysler Group's DealerCONNECT.
DealerCONNECT, says Interliant, is a single point of entry for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealer-related business transactions, and is designed to improve the speed and effectiveness of communications between factories and dealers. Interliant is providing Lotus Domino Webmail mailboxes to Chrysler Group Dealerships and has developed Domino worlkflow applications for the creation, approval and sending of email to dealers. "DealerCONNECT is an exciting project for Interliant," says Dave Link, Interliant's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "It's a great example of how our hosted messaging and collaboration solutions, along with our extensive experience in Domino application development, can provide our customers with solutions that improve business processes through increased speed and reduced costs."

The deal, says SWsoft, saw extensive testing of the Virtuozzo technology on the IBM server line, and the establishing of IBM's ServerProven certification, demonstrating the effectiveness of the combination.
