📅 November 19, 2002 - E-commerce outsource provider Digital River Inc. (digitalriver.com) announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with synchronization software and service provider Pumatech Inc. (pumatech.com).

Through the agreement, Digital River built Pumatech's e-commerce site to support the online sales and marketing of the company's Intellisync synchronization software for handheld devices, like Palm, Pocket PC and Windows CE. Along with hosting the site, Digital River is providing transaction management and multiple payment options, electronic software delivery, fraud prevention and e-marketing services.
"We are pleased to manage e-commerce operations and support online sales for Pumatech's widely-used Intellisync synchronization software," says Jay Kerutis, Digital River's president of Software and Digital Commerce Services. "It is important that companies with busy, Internet-savvy, professional client bases like Pumatech's provide the convenience of online shopping to cater to their audiences."
Visitors to Pumatech's Web site can purchase the newest version of Intellisync for Palm OS, Pocket PC, Windows CE and Symbian, as well as versions in German and Chinese. The site offers services like a year of product upgrades and domestic and international technical support. The site supports a range of payment options.
