📅 - PRIMUS Telecommunications Group subsidiary Primus Telecom Australia (primustel.com.au) announced on Monday that it has acquired three Internet service providers in Australia through its Hotkey Internet Services unit.
The three businesses are Melbourne-based national ISP UseOZ, south-west Victoria-based regional ISP Standard.net and small NSW regional ISP Blue Mountains Internet. Primus Telecom says the acquisitions would result in the Hotkey business surpassing the 75,000 subscribers around Australia. "Primus Telecom is fully committed to expanding the number of Internet customers through a process of acquisition and organic growth,? says Primus Telecom Internet Division general manager Campbell Sallabank. ?We expect to see continued growth in our customer numbers as broadband delivery drives further demand for content-rich services. Our acquisition program will continue to focus on both small to medium providers through Hotkey, as well as larger ISPs as they come on to the market directly through Primus."
