📅 - Data center and Web hosting company Springboard Managed Hosting (springboardhosting.com) announced on Wednesday that it has signed a multi-year marketing and service agreement with the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes to provide secure managed hosting for CarolinaHurricanes.com.
The Web site's traffic, says Springboard, has increased significantly over the past six months, reaching over 125,000 unique visitors and 1.6 million page views per month. "We're looking forward to a long-term, active partnership with the Hurricanes," says Springboard CEO and co-founder Rich Lee. "We're happy to have an opportunity to support the premier professional sports franchise in the Triangle, and to ensure a fast and reliable online connection for their fans." Springboard says the Hurricanes are the latest of a number of high-profile clients to sign with the company, including Builders Mutual, e-Tix, FortuneCity.com, Invensys and Railinc. The company's customer roster now numbers more than 140, including more than 100 new customers signing this year.
