Mar, 2003 : HostingController Offers Training Program

📅 - Web hosting automation solution developer HostingController (HostingController.com) announced on Friday that it has introduced an on-site product training program for systems administrators, directors of operations and others responsible for the administration of systems.

The one-day, instructor-led, training program, says HostingController, is built around hands-on lab activities. The course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Web hosting management using HostingController. Trainees will experience the setup and management of a complete hosting solution, learning practices that will help them use the tool more effectively.
According to HostingController, the course fee of $2,000 includes a $500 software license. The company will fly one of its engineers to the customer's premises in the US or Canada, where they will conduct one full day of training covering HostingController and Windows hosting in general. For an additional fee, the training period can be extended.
"Lack of enough training is a major reason for Web hosts' failure in windows based hosting," says Syed Nauman Hashmi, CEO of HostingController. "A recent survey also revealed that the majority of the hosting companies have not automated all of their process and are still depending on manual methods for provisioning, invoicing, billing, ticketing, domain registration etc. bringing their operations costs much higher than their competitors. Hosting Controller has therefore decided to invest heavily in the training of Web hosts across USA and Canada."
