May 8, 2003 : Keynote Launches Two New Benchmarks

📅 - Keynote Systems (keynote.com) this week announced two new Web transaction performance benchmark indices: The Keynote Consumer E-commerce Transaction Index and The Keynote e-Banking Transaction Index. According to Keynote, the new benchmarks will help accelerate online sales, drive customer loyalty and confront competitive challenges.

In the same release, Keynote also announced new performance management measures that consist of three different solution sets targeted at marketing, operations application development and testing personnel within enterprise organizations. The Best Practices for Total Performance Management (TPM) solutions enable retailers and financial services companies to benchmark, monitor, test and manage the performance levels of their e-business applications and systems from the end user perspective. Keynote says the solutions will make it easier and more cost-effective for retailers and financial services companies to take advantage of Keynote's growing portfolio of Web performance monitoring, management and testing services.
The new Web transaction indices provide competitive advantage to retailers and banks by shining a real time 24/7 light on the performance and availability of their most critical online transactions, as well as on their competitor?s. Using the benchmarking indices, a line of business owner or marketing manager can quickly and easily compare and contrast their Web application performance to their own internal goals and objectives for performance, and to direct and related competitors.
Both transaction performance benchmarks are priced at USD $3,495.00 per month. The Keynote Consumer E-Commerce Transaction Index is available immediately. The Keynote e-Banking Transaction Index will be available in June.
Keynote Best Practices for TPM Solution Sets (Competitive Edge, Diagnostic Edge, Deployment Edge) are available now and priced between USD $4,995.00 and $8,595.00 per month.
Headquartered in San Mateo, California, Keynote Systems is a provider of Internet performance management and testing services.
