Jul, 2003 : Digital River to Host PowerQuest Ecom Sites
📅 - Digital River (digitalriver.com) announced today it has signed a multi-phase e-commerce initiative with PowerQuest Corporation (powerquest.com), a developer of storage lifecycle automation solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Digital River will launch and provide hosting for six e-commerce sites to support PowerQuest's sales efforts in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
According to the company, Digital River is also providing order and value-added tax management, fraud prevention, site merchandising, reporting, product fulfillment, e-marketing and multi-lingual customer service.
"We are pleased to help PowerQuest expand its global e-commerce operations," said Jay Kerutis, Digital River's president of software and digital commerce services. "Our e-commerce platform is built to handle international e-commerce transactions. We address everything from displaying localized content and transacting in localized currencies to calculating value-added tax and shipping to international standards. As an e-commerce outsourcer, we know how to take the complexity out of conducting international online business for a fraction of what it would cost to build and maintain an in-house operation."
Based in Minneapolis, Digital River offers a complete range of e-commerce functions, including hosting, order management, fraud prevention, product fulfillment, e-marketing and customer service. Its international e-commerce capabilities support 15 currencies and offer customer service in 10 languages.
PowerQuest provides storage lifecycle automation solutions in 34 countries worldwide.
