Aug, 2003 : Redundant Networks Launches Transition Promo

📅 - Redundant Networks (redundant.com) announced today the launch of a transition promotion targeted at customers left stranded or concerned about their current service in light of the continued shakeout and instability in the Web hosting market.

Under the terms of the promotion, Redundant will offer free installation, free months of service and deployment to help companies migrate their operations to Redundant's Raleigh or Reno data center facilities.
The company said that in order to support transitions, it has developed an implementation process and audited control program that ensures customers a seamless and rapid installation that minimizes downtime and maximizes efficiency.
"Companies still need a reliable resource for hosting and managed services, and companies such as Redundant Networks are filling that void," said Janice Fetzer, general manager and chief operating officer of Redundant Networks. "Plus, we're answering the call for migration from failing providers to our facilities."
Redundant Networks is the latest company in the last few months to launch a transition program - a trend that began following the recent high profile exits from the hosting market by Sprint and Cable and Wireless. Some of the companies that have already launched transition promotions include NaviSite, Cogent Communications, Globix, Qwest and Digex.
