Sep, 2003 : Evergreen, Radware Partner For Disaster Recovery
📅 - Evergreen Assurance, Inc. (evergreen.net), a disaster recovery solution provider, announced today it has entered into a partnership with application switching provider Radware (radware.com) to develop and deploy Radware's Web Server Director technology, a local and global IP application switching solution that manages traffic across distributed sites to ensure full availability of applications and data.
Under the agreement, Evergreen has integrated Radware's switching technology into its disaster recovery management system.
According to Evergreen, its disaster recovery management system protects companies from downtime through a "failover" mechanism that provides them with complete control over the recovery process. Companies can failover to Evergreen or their own secondary environment as often as needed by pushing a button on a Web-based console.
"Evergreen provides its customers with peace of mind by offering total control over their mission-critical applications and data," said John Liccione, CTO of Evergreen. "Offering reliable access to a dedicated secondary environment in 15 minutes is the cornerstone of our solution. Radware allows us to transfer our customers to their alternate servers in a manner that is both rapid and transparent to our end users."
Evergreen is based in Annapolis, Maryland.
