😁 Response to Mark Holmes review. We have been hosting since 2000 and we know what we are doing. Mr. Holmes broke his site himself and expected us to re-write the code he messed up. We do not know what he did. We attempted to fix it but it was a coding problem. Not a server issue. We are not developers. We offered to restore his site from backup and he refused because he did not know when it broke.. As to a 2 week downtime, that was unfortunate that our backup drive failed. That backup system has been replaced with a 3 tier D2D2T system and has been fully functional since that time. As to losing data. That is not true. We did restore all sites from backup after the prior backup system was replaced. We run everything on state of the art equipment from IBM HA servers to Cisco, to Qualcom etc..

😠 Used the Sharepoint hosting plan. Fast to respond on tech support, but not very knowledgeable. Although they advertise as Sharepoint hosting specialists, they are incompetent in dealing with problems. We have currently been without our server for two weeks due to them losing the data and having inadequate backup procedures. They have cost my company a considerable amount of money and credibility. Avoid them at all costs.
🗨 This is a response to Mholmes bad feedback on our company back in 2007. Yes we had a few problems at that time with our backup. But we did finally restore all data, so no data was lost. At the time we used Arkeia Software for backup. That was a poor choice. We now use Symantec Network backup. We have a 3 tier backup process in place and it works very well. We backup periodic images of our servers in addition to the daily backups. We store those backups to both onsite storage and to tape.
As to being incompetent on SharePoint.. I highly dis-agree. We have been hosting SharePoint since 2000. We know the product well. However, we cannot control what a customer does to their sites. If they break it through poor editing procedures, we can not guarantee we can fix what they broke through re-editing. We can guarantee restoration from backup from a prior point in time.. You get what you pay for in everything. Spending $20.00 per month on hosting is not going to get you the same thing as spend
