😃 I've been with Smallbusiness.host since they were called Purple Paw many years ago and currently use their C Panels linux hosting. Their support team could be faster, but always reply the same working day and they do not offer phone support. The web hosting is rock solid with no downtime as far as I can tell in the last year I've been monitoring my site.

😠 Purple Paw, now Small Business Host Ltd, are shocking
They were recommended to me approx 9 years ago and were great for approx 4 years. Since then, there have been regular service outages and it has been difficult to get in touch with them and get any response.
The company underwent a name change in March 2015, to Small Business Host Ltd, and my emails went down completely a week ago. I emailed them, and they said that the problem initially was at my end ie that I had changed my settings (which I hadn't). It ended up with my being asked to provide screen shots in jpg format to prove this. The emails then started working again the following morning (with no changes having been made on my part) and then stopped again. I've now requested a move to another web host
In the meantime, my partner (who also has 3 websites with them) is being told by them that Small Business Host Ltd is a new company (whereas we can see that it is a simple name change by looking at an online company directory I have access to through work) and they are [read more...]

😠 used to be great, now one of the worst
I've used Purplepaw for over 12 years and when we first used them they were great, excellent hosting service and very reasonable, always on hand to deal with problems. Also very reliable on the whole. For the last 3 years service has got worse and worse, web sites are down every few weeks sometimes for several days, with no response from tech support. To be fair their rates were very low and would happily have paid double or more if they could have kept up the level of service we first recieved. [import from purple-paw.com]

😁 All process was quick and clear. Eurofasthost purchased a domain for me to go with my hosting and I was shocked and amazed at how quick it come through and it was up and running in a couple of hours. I can highly recommend them again for there amazing quick services they offer. [import from eurofasthost.com]

😠 No customer support, only via tickets which were unavailable today, No telephone support. No contact address on site except head office who will only give you there address if you write to them. [import from purple-paw.com]

😠 I have had to deal with support on three separate occasions - each time worse than the last.
The service is shoddy at best. If they bother to respond to tickets they blame you for their problems and defer - most recently this has meant losing 4 days of work. [import from purple-paw.com]

😠 I would like to mention to all potential customers looking for a hosting company: DO NOT CHOOSE EuroFastHost.com.
I had many websites hosted with them and just to let you know, one of them had the tags removed as the domain was not renewed, only 5 days after renewing I set about having the name servers point again to the website. THEY LOST IT?!?! and refused any compensation. This was a £8000 website.
For those already with Eurofasthost. Ask them for a backup for your data. You will then start to hear the many excuses that will follow. Before arrogantly telling you. It's your fault.
After asking them to back up another site I have with them just to see if this is what the problem is I discovered they actually do not run any backups at all, at any time. NEVER. This is however stated upon buying. So if you lose your stuff - It's gone. This is also illegal as there would be no tracking possible for any court case for say a pedophile and illegal images. A case is [read more...]
