😠 TERRIBLE HOSTING & INCOMPETENT SUPPORT
You know how it goes, sometimes you have to rely on Support to fix something funky happening on the server. These Efree2net.com jackasses will ignore you for days and then do some stupid thing that doesn't even fix the problem! They don't even know when their servers are down, you have to do your own monitoring and tell them when that happens! I don't know how any hosting company could be any worse, this outfit has to be the very bottom of the barrel. Don't waste your time and money, there are a lot less expensive options out there now even if cost is your sole criterion!

😠 Worst Hosting Provider Ever!
Like some of the other reviewers have posted here, efree2net is HIGHLY UNRELIABLE, and when you ask for help they are RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and UNCLEAR -- if they bother to respond at all.
For the last several weeks they have REFUSED my requests for tech support, simply ignoring my trouble ticket requests. They won't even reply when it's about SECURITY ISSUES on their own servers! I have never seen a business that treated its customers so poorly. Efree2net must be the worst hosting provider in the world.
Backstory: it wasn't always this bad. I have been with them for almost twenty years, and most of the time they tried their best, such as it was. Sure, their servers are slow and lock up from time to time, and sometimes they couldn't make certain features work right and would just give up trying, and they don't monitor their servers so when they go down you have to be the one who notices and alerts them. 😃 I have been hosting sites with efree2 net for more than 2 years, know I have 14 of my clients sites hosted with them and only with minor problems that have been promptly corrected after I contact customer support.
The uptime was not so good some months ago but since March 2010 I haven't seen any downtime.
I'm shure that they give you the best value for your money.
And also the speed of the server is great! I've just tested it today.

😉 For several years now I have been hosting several small web sites with eFree2net and have been very happy overall with the service for the price. I needed ColdFusion hosting with database support and at $40 a year, I didn't expect much. But I have been been pleasantly surprised at how few problems I've had and very little downtime. I have not used them for anything mission-critical/for-profit so I can't recommend them for that purpose but for my modest needs they have been ideal.

😠 This is a very unreliable hosting company. I had several sites hosted with them and have since moved them all to a different host. The sites went down all the time. The email responses from them are rude, unprofessional, and unclear - if they bother to respond at all. Their partner domain registrar is even worse - once you register there it's next to impossible to transfer to another registrar. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

😠 I have used the free Web hosting, beginner hosting, and free domain hosting plans for 5 separate domains. I am extremely unhappy with my experience with efree2net.com. They are unresponsive and rude. In my latest difficulty, one of my Web sites is not available. I have been emailing them and enetering trouble tickets for over a month with no response whatsoever. In the past, when thay have responded they are condescending and rude. I am recommending other companies for domain registration and hosting to my clients. It is not worth the cheap price.
