The claims made by them (the 5 (thats right, inclusive of the 3 owners), FIVE total people run this fly by night terrible excuse for a datacenter. It is about 80-90% vacant because half of dozen or more tenants have left over the previous 2 months.
- The are NOT N+anything redundant. They have been running off of a single, non-redundant, cheap, poorly configured router. Their tenants are mostly just what carriers are built into the building which doesn't do anyone any good.
- More customers are leaving
- They violate their own audit rules repeatedly, and they have ZERO non-business hours personnel or way to reach anyone.
- The building security is a totally different provider who will open the front door if you just tell them that you "have a card" or are "a customer". They ask for no proof, whatsoever, just whoever runs that building security buzzes anyone in.
- Wouldn't matter, the building has several (3 or more external doors that get propped open and does not trigger any alarm.
Their claim about PCI DSS is absurd, they have nothing to do with the cardholder data environment, databases etc. The same goes for HIPPA. They don't provide any EMR nor do they have any customers of that type.
Power is unreliable, improperly engineered and voltage fluctuates outside of some equipments tolerable ranges and simply will not turn on. They don't understand grounding so they just create a rats nest of ground wires which fail to meet telcordia specifications, so expect weird things, reboots, lower power effeciciency in your equipment due to the stress involved with reversed biasing (and of course the unexpected is expected with reverse biasing).
Thermal gradients are incredibly dangerous into the tens / twents in terms of degress F between measured regions of convection explosive pressure / negative pressure ..
