😁 If you know what you're doing 123Connect are a great hosting company. Helpful support and just straight forward, reasonable people to deal with. You can pick up the phone and speak to an actual, real-life person and they're only based down the road in Essex (so I bet they all have excellent fake tans too).

Last year I had clients struggling due to the pandemic and one in particular couldn't afford to renew their web hosting services at the time. I contacted Jeff, apologising for the late payment and explained that I'd be covering the client's hosting and SSL until they were back on their feet (for which there website would be essential). Jeff very kindly offered to cover half the hosting bill for that client. They're good people. They care.

I only landed on this review page by accident and was really surprised by the bad reviews, of which their are only two. Reading between the lines, they sound like disgruntled, awkward customers and their feedback should probably be taken [read more...]

😠 These people created a web site, we then asked them to created some XML ordering and e-commerce work, and they did not have a clue, would not read the PDF's and left what we had non-working.
We paid for the web site work but as they did not do the stuff correctly for the ordering scripts we told them to forget it as they don't know what they are doing with dev work, so now they are taking us to court claiming they have completed all the work to specs.
DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY!
🗨 we completed the project and tests proved it working, however on the very last point of the project he claimed that a section called "line speed" was not what we should use to display line speed, we should have used "products".

At no point prior to this was it mentioned by him or in any PDF. We won our court case and he paid for the site and for the costs as we had proof the site worked by setting up accounts on there using the very system he said was broken.

😠 The guy we used to speak to at 123 answered the phone promptly but used to speak in riddles - we didn't get anywhere with his and lost one client due to the bad services we had on the clients email account- the client bought a spam filter that didn't work and Jeff basically said thats too bad
🗨 this was an amateur web designer who had very little knowledge, we helped all we could many times. We provided hosting services from 2007 to 2009 (so we weren't that bad) and from our records they never ordered spam filtering (or we never charged for it).
