Nov, 2003 : OpsWorks Launches Monitoring Software Promo

📅 November 21, 2003 - Managed Services Partners International (MSPI) (mspintl.com), developer of the OpsWorks (opsworks.com) monitoring and management system, said yesterday it is offering colleges and universities OpsWorks monitoring software for only the annual maintenance price with no additional monthly per device or licensing charges.

According to MSP, OpsWorks is a cost-effective way for enterprises to monitor and manage IT resources and infrastructure. The company said the solution is able to monitor thousands of network devices on UNIX, Linux and Windows servers, and is easy to install and configure, and provides real time monitoring information and alerts.
"The OpsWorks monitoring and management platform is designed to provide enterprise management system capabilities to organization of all sizes," said Joe Makoid, CEO and founder of MSPI. "The platform was designed in conjunction with, and for, one of the industry's leading service providers as a powerful, easy-to-configure tool that generates alerts to pagers, cell phones, e-mail, and with portal access so users can check state of health of their system any time of the day or night.
