📅 - NACIO Systems (nacio.com) announced on Wednesday that it is releasing a new spam and virus filtering (SVF) service for customers whose email services are hosted at NACIO Systems.
SVF will be powered by filtering technology from Postini, Inc., ensuring that all incoming mail will be screened before it reaches the user's inbox. Legitimate email will automatically be separated from suspicious messages. "The volume of spam has increased exponentially over the past couple of years and the costs to businesses for dealing with the problem have grown completely out of hand," said Vince Conroy, NACIO's chief technical officer. "Our new SVF Service takes the strain off overburdened IT staff and systems and protects networks from virus attacks. And, one of its greatest features is that it provides the user with maximum flexibility to fine-tune their own filtering levels according to their needs." The SVF will be constantly updated to catch the latest, most dangerous viruses and it will notify users via email when a virus-infected message is quarantined.
