📅 - UK-based Web hosting provider NaviSite Europe (navisite-europe.com) announced this week that it had been selected by property investment specialist Inside Track to provide managed Web hosting services and database support.
Inside Track relies heavily on numerous databases that must be carefully managed. NaviSite's solution provides a managed access hosting service and 24-hour support for the delivery of the databases and Web site links to Inside Track's 5,000 members and 120 staff. Hosted from NaviSite's London-based data center, the secured Web solution will maximize the site's availability and will better suit Inside Track's strategy of expansion into Asian and US markets. Inside Track will join the ranks of NaviSite's increasing portfolio which includes Hyundai, UKTV, Virgin Travelstore, Frost & Sullivan, Interflora and The Savoy Group.

Howard Carmack, known as the "Buffalo Spammer," received the maximum sentence for 14 counts of identity theft and forgery. Carmack sent out 825 million bulk email messages under stolen identities and forged addresses, the court found, and was the first defendant to face charges under the state's new identity-theft statute. Parent company First Data confirmed that Cardservice will phase out its adult clientele within an unspecified time.
