📅 - European Web hosting provider Host Europe, recently acquired by Internet services provider Pipex Communications (pipexcommunications.net), has officially changed its name to Pipex Communications Hosting. Host Europe's key domain, hosting and server lines, 123-reg.co.uk, WebFusion, Magic Moments and Dedicated Servers, will continue to operate as sub-brands under the Pipex banner.
Pipex said that, following the acquisition, it is in a position to deliver an expanded range of telecommunications products and services, including hosting, connectivity, security products, voice and managed services. Access to Pipex's enhanced fiber network and data center facilities will provider further speed, resilience and security, the company said. Pipex Communications reached an agreement in April to acquire Host Europe for approximately £32M. Host Europe has been delisted from the London Stock Exchange AIM market.
