Apr, 2001 : Verado sponsors seminar, offers 60 day free test hosting

📅 - Data center and managed services solutions provider Verado (verado.com) announced on Tuesday that it would co-sponsor Microsoft's "Battle for the Web" seminar, being held today in Denver. The approximately 700 software developers attending the conference will receive 60-day free trials of the Microsoft VisualStudio.NET software development platform and Web services architecture hosted in Verado's Denver data center.

Verado's director of business development, Brad Renville, will speak at the seminar, discussing the company's information delivery system, and its hosting environments. Verado says the presentation will help illustrate that Verado's network of data centers will form the foundation of online computing's next evolution, which the company believes will heavily involve web-based computing and the distributed desktop.
Verado will offer the developers attending the seminar a free dedicated hosting environment, for a limited time, which they can use to fine tune new applications and beta test the new Windows based online software development platform.
The hosting company's promotion will be the first time developers are able to interact with the next version of VisualStudio.NET through the Web, the medium that it will eventually arrive on.
Verado says it expects to put its speed, redundancy and reliability to use, putting online computing and collaboration on the menu at its data centers nationwide. Verado says its online test environment will allow developers to create applications for their customers without having to set up the expensive infrastructure.
