Jun 30, 2005 : AventureHost Unveils New Xeon Servers

📅 June 30, 2005 - Aventure Media's Web hosting division AventureHost (aventurehost.com -> maxer.com) announced on Thursday that it had launched Xeon 64-bit dedicated servers for $180.
The servers come with Dell 64-bit 3.2Ghz Xeon Processors, 10Mbps of unmetered bandwidth, 80GB of Sata hard drive space, cPanel and WHM with CentOS, Linux, management and monitoring, 24-hour technical support, local telephone support and free unlimited reboots. Customers have the option of buying their own hardware and shipping it to Aventure's data center for free installation on their server. Aventure Media says it is also launching a new telephone support service that comes with each dedicated server. Currently available in beta, the service gives customers a local telephone number they can call for support. The company says the service, priced at $25 per month, helps customers cut down on national or international telephone fees.
