The new QuikTrade service for niche retailers allows users to create a commercially viable, interactive Web site in as little as two hours. The Web sites can work either as stand-alone products, or be incorporated into existing sites. The service allows for the inclusion of additional products, and supports a fully interactive database function.
According to Global Gold, the product took some time to develop, but the company says the project was critical, as Global Gold sees the process of building a dialogue between retailer and customer through database development as key to the success of e-commerce.
The company says QuikTrade will give retailers a range of tools designed to encourage users to interact, allowing the customer to build up a valuable database for use with ongoing marketing initiatives.
Although Global Gold thinks QuikTrade will be of particular value to retailers in niche markets, the product has demonstrated the versatility to handle a product line as extensive as that of Tesco.
