📅 December 8, 2005 - Web hosting provider Runservers.com (runservers.com) announced on Tuesday that it had opened a new data center at HostCentric's (hostcentric.com -> web.com) facility based in Fremont, California.

"Runservers.com offers more, with state-of-the-art servers and customer service around the clock," says Robert Singleton, a spokesperson for Runservers.com.

The company also added three new services for customers including free domain transfer, Elefante free scripts installer and the Web design tool SiteStudio, also free of charge.

Hostcentric, formerly owned by Interland (interland.com ), was sold to Caird Corporation (cairdcorp.com) in May.
