Helix Gains $1 Billion From Samsung for AI Data Center Plans
📅 - Samsung Electronics and five affiliates have committed $1 billion to Helix Digital Infrastructure, adding capital and potential equipment and construction links to an AI data center platform. The money lifts Helix Digital Infrastructure's funding base above $11 billion. For hyperscale buyers, the issue is whether those partners can deliver power, cooling, buildings, and connectivity on schedule.
Helix Digital Infrastructure was launched in June with backing from KKR, Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA, and Vistra. 📅 - Arelion Survey Finds Network Trust Gap Slowing Enterprise AI - Enterprise leaders say network provider concerns are affecting AI projects and cloud migrations, even as most report confidence in their carriers. In an Arelion survey, 58% said they had delayed, reduced or added safeguards to strategic initiatives over two years. Yet only 15% expressed complete confidence that their provider could detect and resolve a serious network failure.
