AWS Adds 2M NVIDIA GPUs as AI Data Center Demand Accelerates
📅 - NVIDIA's latest earnings and AWS's plan to deploy two million additional GPUs sharpen the infrastructure story for hosting providers, data center operators and cloud buyers. Demand is still surging, but the next bottlenecks are less about chips alone and more about power, cooling, networking, land, capital intensity and whether hyperscalers can keep expensive AI capacity economically utilized.
NVIDIA reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year over year, with Data Center revenue reaching $89 billion. That was 117% higher than a year earlier.
