Eye Security Raises €60M To Build European Cybersecurity Platform
📅 - Eye Security has raised €60m in Series C funding led by Sofina, with TIN Capital, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners and Bessemer remaining involved, as the Dutch-founded company tries to build a European cybersecurity platform for midmarket organizations facing AI-assisted attacks, NIS2 pressure and renewed concern over reliance on non-European security providers and cyber insurance access too.
The round gives Eye Security capital to expand across Europe, add integrations, build more AI-assisted capabilities and hire across engineering, threat intelligence and customer operations. It also gives Sofina a minority stake. Existing Dutch investor TIN Capital increased its commitment.

📅 - Arcus Buys Verne’s Volta Data Centres To Enter London Colocation Market - Arcus Infrastructure Partners has agreed to buy Volta Data Centres from Verne, taking over a 6MW carrier-neutral colocation and interconnection site in central London. The deal, expected to close in July 2026, gives Arcus a foothold in a constrained UK market while Verne narrows its focus toward low-carbon, high-density facilities elsewhere in Northern Europe for AI workloads.
For infrastructure buyers, this is not a giant hyperscale transaction. It is smaller. More specific. Potentially more revealing.
Volta's London facility sits near the City of London, which means it serves a market where latency, interconnection and location still carry real commercial weight. The site has more than [...]
📅 - Together AI Raises $800M As Open-Model Compute Demand Surges - Together AI has raised $800 million at an $8.3 billion valuation, bringing Saudi-backed Aramco Ventures into a crowded race to turn open-source models into enterprise-grade infrastructure. The Series C follows surging bookings and customer claims of sharply lower inference costs, but also exposes the capital intensity behind making AI cheaper at scale for developers and businesses globally.
Together AI is trying to sell a different version of the AI infrastructure story. Not one where every enterprise routes sensitive workloads through a small group of closed frontier-model providers. Not one where inference bills quietly destroy software margins after a product finally gets usage. [...]
📅 - Velosio Buys Kopis, Acuitas For U.S. Microsoft AI Growth - Velosio has bought the commercial assets of Kopis and acquired Acuitas, adding Azure, Dynamics and AI services capacity as Microsoft partners consolidate around customers trying to rationalize cloud, ERP and data platforms. The deals extend Velosio's reach into custom software, Business Central and legacy Dynamics accounts, but integration risk arrives fast for midmarket clients and enterprise buyers.
The company is already one of the larger Microsoft partners in the United States. It says it has spent 30 consecutive years in Microsoft's Inner Circle and ranks among the top 1% of Microsoft partners globally. Fine. Partner rankings are partly capability signal, partly ecosystem theater. [...]
📅 - Eaton Invests In VoltServer For AI Data Center Power Shift - Eaton has taken a strategic stake in VoltServer, pairing its power management portfolio with the startup's fault-managed Digital Electricity technology as data center operators look for safer, faster ways to distribute power for AI, edge and high-density workloads. The companies plan joint hardware and software for DC-based power distribution systems in critical facilities and industrial environments worldwide.
The investment is small in disclosed detail and large in implication. Eaton is not buying another conventional electrical component vendor here. It is putting money and engineering attention behind a different power distribution model at a moment when data center power delivery is [...]
📅 - Qolab Raises $54.2M as Quantum Hardware Faces Its Manufacturing Test - Qolab has secured $54.2 million in Series B-related financing and commitments led by UC Investments, tying a young superconducting quantum hardware company more closely to the University of California's research and capital network as investors continue searching for quantum bets that can survive the long slog from Nobel-level physics to manufacturable computing systems at industrial scale soon.
The number needs unpacking. Qolab said the funding total includes initial closings of Series B preferred stock, the conversion of $12.6 million in convertible securities, and $10 million in future convertible securities commitments. That is not the same as a clean single-close equity round. It is [...]
📅 - AI-Native Startups Reach Unicorn Status In Half The Time - Amazon Web Services says AI native startups are reaching billion dollar valuations in 3.5 years, roughly twice as fast as pre generative AI peers, according to a new global study of 3,400 founders and senior leaders. The numbers are striking. They also arrive from a cloud provider with every reason to make AI company formation look cheaper to investors today.
The report, titled Engines of Growth, tries to separate startups that merely use AI from companies built around it from the first line of code. AWS defines the group as companies under five years old with AI at the center of the product, not just in customer support, analytics, or engineering workflows. That is a useful boundary. [...]
