📅 December 14, 2016 - Donweb.com will be acquired by Web.com according to a recent announcement. The goal through the acquisition for Web.com is to drive international growth. With a large base of small business customers found in Latin America, the company believes this is a step towards reaching these customers.

Web.com is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, while Donweb.com is headquartered in Santa Fe, Argentina. Web.com offers services for small businesses, which allow for website building and design, along with SSL certificates, cloud servers, email marketing and more. Donweb.com offers a range of email marketing services, along with VPS hosting, dedicated servers and domain registration.

Both companies cater to small and medium-sized businesses. The acquisition will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
