Aug, 2016 : DNC Says Hackers Accessed Clinton Campaign Data

📅 August 2, 2016 - The Clinton presidential campaign confirmed that some of it's campaign data was accessed by hackers in the latest development of what security experts are calling a “broad operation by Russian operatives to infiltrate U.S. political organizations.”

In a quote released by a DNC spokesperson, Nick Merrill, the DNC held that “An analytics data program maintained by the DNC, and used by our campaign and a number of other entities, was accessed. . .Our campaign computer system has been under review by outside cyber security experts. To date, they have found no evidence that our internal systems have been compromised.”
