Pat Gelsinger, CEO of VMware, Says it’s a Good Time for Acquisitions

However, Gelsinger is on his own shopping expedition, like many other CEOs in Silicon Valley. He's looking for the right opportunity as he believes the sellers' market has turned into a buyers' market.

VMware has the ability to consider deals into the billions f dollars, but anything above $5 billion would be larger than what the company has acquired in the past. They are still looking at mainly cloud, networking, mobile products and management security for acquisitions.
