Trustwave Sued by Former Customer over “Inadequate” Security Investigation
📅 - A former Trustwave customer has filed a lawsuit against the company for $100,000 in damaged. The suit alleges the company missed a breach during an investigation they were using to look closer at a cybersecurity incident.
Affinity Gaming from Nevada is the customer filing the suit. They own many casinos in the state and Trustwave was hired to mitigate and investigate a data breach in 2003. The breach exposed the data of as many as 300,000 customers. .
