📅 - A Verizon data center suffered an outage on Thursday morning, which caused JetBlue's electronic systems to go down. This caused flight delays and shut down the airline's website and online booking systems.
Neither company has offered any type of explanation for the power outage. It's unclear whether Verizon failed to switch to backup power or if JetBlue failed to switch to a backup data center. .
