The company says it is upgrading its hardware to offer Dell servers with dual quad core xeon processors from Intel.
It has also added a range of new and upgraded software, including Plesk 8.1 for Windows, MySQL 5.0, MsSQL 2005, ASP.Net 2.0 and PHP 5.0.
"We are extremely proud to offer such upgrades," says product manager Mani Aminian, "while we still remain competitive with our hosting packages both in the US and Canada."
Cirrus says its core packages target a segment of customers that ranges from personal to corporate users. The company says it is now one of the largest Canadian Web hosting companies, and provides services to customers in three continents.
