TelecityGroup, a provider of network independent data centers, yesterday announced that it has acquired Internet Facilitators Limited (IFL), a business class data center provider in Manchester, UK, for GBP 21.1m.
According to the company, it is expanding its presence in commercial centers across Europe and Manchester offers exciting prospects for significant growth. This acquisition represents a unique opportunity for it and offers a complementary strategic fit with the company's existing presence in the city. The IFL facility in Manchester will add 1,600 sqm (1.4 MW) of high quality capacity to the its existing estate, and has the potential for significant further growth.
