Hosting.com, a provider of managed hosting, cloud hosting and colocation solutions, recently announced the general availability of its Server Replication solution providing customers the ability to have a replicated virtual copy of their critical data in its secondary data center. The company articulates that true business continuity is now accessible with Server Replication - providing its Cloud and Dedicated customers a solution that keeps their business running with immediate remote operational capabilities and complete data protection.

It states that Server Replication delivers enterprise-class continuous availability for businesses requiring a regulatory compliant, automated failover and disaster recovery solution. The company claims that Server Replication allows customers to achieve a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of 15 minutes or less and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of 5 minutes. It adds that in the event of a system interruption or failure, the replica automatically and seamlessly engages, ensuring continued access to applications and data.
