The company claims that this online data backup service, powered by Iron Mountain, successfully removes the constant threat of data loss from PC or Mac desktops and laptops by automatically backing up users' files as they go about their normal business day. It adds that its Desktop Backup service effectively removes the threat of data loss from lost or stolen laptops, computer viruses, data corruption or human error.

The company explains that this web-based hosted service provides users with automated protection of their entire desktop or select files at a time that can be pre-selected by them or done on-demand - ensuring that data is backed-up at a time that is most convenient. This set it and forget it capability enables users to carry on with their daily activities while the desktop backup service runs in the background. It says that on-demand data restoration can be done quickly by the user from any computer with an internet connection.
