Dec, 2009 : Crucial Paradigm Australia Announces Network Upgrade

📅 - Allows the company to support increasing demand for Linux and Windows Virtual Private Servers, in addition to other managed services.

Crucial Paradigm Australia, a provider of managed web hosting and Virtual Private Servers for small to medium sized businesses, today announced that it has completed an overhaul of its entire core network, adding more traffic capacity and the capability to quickly scale the network to a larger size.

The company says that its network upgrade will enable it to continue to support increasing high demand for Linux and Windows Virtual Private Servers, in addition to other managed services. It claims that it already manages close to a terabyte of VPS RAM capacity, making it a leader in the Australian Virtual Private Server market. The company states that the upgraded network now relies exclusively on Cisco routers and switches, and is fully redundant with distinct connections to multiple Internet Service Providers (ISPs). The capacity of the network enables it to handle more than 200 million packets per second with ease.

"We're in the midst of a period of tremendous positive growth for Crucial Paradigm Australia, and we have been successful in scaling our network and customer support resources to meet the increased demand. Today's announcement is a major milestone for our company and will enable us to remain an industry leader for years to come," said Aaron Weller, Managing Director of Crucial Paradigm Australia.
