GreenSoft Solutions, Inc., a provider of PCI compliant and managed hosting services, today announced that they have joined the R1Soft Hosting Partner Program (R1HPP). The company states that along with its hosting services, it offers secure, off-site backups for Linux, Windows, and MySQL featuring R1Soft's Continuous Data Protection (CDP) backup technology.
It adds that R1Soft's disk-based CDP software captures data at the block level versus the file level enabling it to run high-speed backups. The company explains that it stores clients data at an additional off-site, GSI-owned facility doubling data protection. The off-site backups give clients extra assurance they are protected from data loss and will only experience minimal downtime in the event of a disaster.
