📅 - Online tutorial provider DemoWolf (demowolf.com) announced on Wednesday it has released the newest version of its tutorial building software, DemoBuilder 7.1 (demo-builder.com).
Last month, DemoWolf began offering 70 percent off its re-branding service to all customers and also customers of DemoWolf competitors.
Developed by Tanida, DemoBuilder software enables users to build interactive flash movies that demonstrate how applications and systems work by taking a series of editable screen captures of a target application running on a desktop.
This newest version of DemoBuilder offers many new features that were requested by DemoBuilder users, including the new Zoom-n-Pan feature, the ability to insert Flash video into demos, the addition of click-to-continue, play and restart buttons, new scene transitions, Javascript-enabled, the ability to import PNG files, and an improved timeline.
"The new Zoom-n-Pan feature is terrific," says Rob Moore, president of DemoWolf. "It will allow us to add another dimension to the custom tutorials we produce for clients.
DemoWolf uses DemoBuilder to create all their online flash-based support tutorials, which are then offered to web hosting companies for purchase and offer on their own websites, branded with their own company logos.
However, companies that want to personally produce their own tutorials can purchase DemoBuilder themselves. DemoWolf says it works closely with these companies who produce their own tutorials, as they often want to outsource much of their tutorial development back to DemoWolf.
DemoBuilder 7.1 is available in a Standard version, priced at $180, and a Professional version, priced at $224. Both versions have the same functionality except that the Professional version also provides full-motion recording and the ability to import video files.
DemoWolf is offering a 15 day free trial of DemoBuilder 7.1 that can be downloaded from its website. Customers will also get 12 full months of free upgrades when they purchase DemoBuilder.
