📅 October 2, 2008 - Web hosting provider PEER 1 Network Enterprises (peer1.com ) announced on Thursday it has launched the PEER 1 Partner Network (peer1.com/partners), an integrated referral and reseller program aimed at web developers, system integrators and IT consultants.

The programs are designed to provide PEER 1 partners with the infrastructure to reinforce their relationships with existing customers, offer revenue incentives to refer business and in turn increase revenue for both PEER 1 and its partners.

The announcement follows the recent launch of another high-profile web host's reseller program. Earlier this week, Fasthosts launched its own reseller program, offering resellers a one-year, free, unlimited hosting package.

"These programs are designed to provide higher value relationships with clients and increase our partner's revenues today and into the future," says Robert Miggins, senior vice president of business development for PEER 1. "The Partner Network will significantly enhance PEER 1's referral and reseller sales channels by providing our partners with an integrated incentive system that also allows us to grow our revenue."

The referral program enables partners to choose from significant business and revenue growth opportunities without having to close the sale themselves or support the customer afterwards.

Referral partners can either receive a one-time commission of up to 100 percent for each new customer referral or participate in a revenue sharing plan that pays a monthly commission of up to 15 percent.

Once a referral is passed on to PEER 1, the company will assign an account manager to the referred client who will collaborate with a PEER 1 solution engineer to fully assess hosting needs and to recommend the best business IT solution. Customers will then receive around-the-clock technical support through the PEER 1 support team and the MyPEER1.com website portal.

Expected to be launched later this quarter, the PEER 1 reseller program will help partners offer comprehensive hosting solutions backed by PEER 1. Features will include partner discounts for dedicated servers, setup fees and managed services.

Reseller Partners will be provided with exclusive discounts on dedicated servers, setup fees and managed services and be able to set their own margins; the full support of their own PEER 1 support team that includes an account manager, technical specialist and a billing specialist; Partner Network support; and access to exclusive co-branded sales and marketing materials and official PEER 1 Partner Network badges.
