Jul 2, 2008 : Parallels Adds Secure64 DNS Option

📅 - Web hosting software provider Parallels (parallels.com) announced on Wednesday its Parallels Automation solution now integrates with Secure64 DNS (secure64.com), enabling service providers who use Parallels Automation to manage Secure64 servers within their data centers.

The partnership follows a couple of previous integrations that Parallels Automation has formed with other solutions, including Google Apps security and compliance package, and Open-Xchange's open source email and collaboration software.

Parallels Automation is a customizable data center solution that enables service providers to more efficiently manage their infrastructure. The new partnership provides a new option for service providers searching for a secure and highly available DNS solution, says Parallels.

"The integration of Secure64 DNS with Parallels Automation allows service providers the flexibility of choosing a more secure DNS solution," says Serguei Beloussov, CEO of Parallels. "By leveraging Parallels Automation and the Parallels Open Platform, software vendors can create additional revenue with easy access to the growing hosting market."

Based on Secure64's SourceT micro OS, Secure64 DNS is an authoritative name server application that runs on the HP Integrity rx2660 hardware platform.

The application is designed from the ground up, with a secure architecture that prevents any applications running on it from rootkits, malware and network attacks.

German web hosting provider united hoster recently announced it launched hosted Microsoft services using web hosting software provider Parallels' automation software.
