ICANN Board of Directors - Request for Proposals (RFP) for an Independent Evaluator

ICANN is seeking to appoint an independent evaluator to undertake a reviewof the ICANN Board. The request for proposal can be found here.
Thereview is designed to determine: (i) whether the Board is fulfilling its purposein the ICANN structure; and (ii) if so, whether any change in structure oroperations is desirable to improve its effectiveness.
The RFP shouldbe read in conjunction with the Terms of Reference for Independent Review ofthe ICANN Board found at https://www.icann.org/reviews/icann-board-review-20sep07.pdf).
The Review is due to begin in the second quarter of 2008. A full projecttimeline will be developed, but it is anticipated that a key milestone willinclude presentation of a draft report at ICANN's meeting to be held 2-7 November2008 .
The Review is expected to include personal interviews, surveys, researchand consultation with members of the ICANN community. The successful organizationis welcome to suggest additional forms of soliciting information.
ICANN will provide to the Review team background documentation and reportsand access to a range of historical data on a confidential basis.
