Mar 15, 2007 : SWsoft Delivers Virtuozzo with SUSE

📅 March 15, 2007 - Server automation and virtualization software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Thursday it will deliver its Virtuozzo server virtualization software bundled with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 from Novell (novell.com).

SWsoft will take a standard distribution of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and add the Virtuozzo software to deliver a single integrated solution to customers. As a result, customers will have another choice for virtualization that uses open computing platform SUSE Linux Enterprise 10.

"This is an important step forward for operating system virtualization to be offered together with one of the most popular enterprise-class Linux distributions in the world," said Serguei Beloussov, SWsoft CEO. "We are pleased to partner with Novell to give customers ready access to an integrated virtualization solution and one place to turn for support."

Other SWsoft products, including Confixx, HSPcomplete, PEM, Plesk and Sitebuilder, can also be packaged with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server with support provided by SWsoft. The company plans to make the Virtuozzo and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 bundle available worldwide in the second quarter.
