📅 - Domain online marketplace Sedo (sedo.com) announced on Thursday that it has won two Domainers' Choice Awards at the DOMAINfest Global conference, which was held from January 21 to 23 in Hollywood, California.
Sedo won the award for "Best Domain Marketplace", recognizing its industry leadership with more than 10.5 million domains listed for sale worldwide and a community of more than 600,000 active domain professionals globally, says the online marketplace.
The company was also recognized with an award for "Best Customer Service Representative" for its director of North American parking for Sedo, Eben Smith.
Sedo says it was also among the finalists for the "Best Domain Parking" and "Best Industry Spokesperson: Matt Bentley" from the Domainers' Choice Awards program.
Late last month, Sedo said that the demand for aftermarket domain names grew substantially in 2007, setting a new benchmark for the market in the coming years.
